SUP Yoga Meteor FestJoin us at West Hawk Lake on July 7th for Meteor Fest! We will be out at Crescent Beach for the day offering SUP demos, paddleboard yoga and bootcamps!

Paddleboard Yoga

10:30am on July 7th with a weather cover day of July 8th

Class length: 60 – 75mins

Beginner friendly yoga class done on the paddleboard (with anchors). Students start by learning basic postures sitting and laying down on the boards and then gradually work up to standing and more challenging postures focusing on balance, core strength and flexibility. Modifications are available for any skill level or injury. Each class ends with a floating savasana pose. Perfect for the mind and body!

Paddleboard Bootcamp

2:30pm on July 7th with a weather cover day of July 8th
$25.00 per person (sign up below)
Class length: 60 mins

A new way to take your regular fitness routine to the next level. An intense cardio and body weight class (includes warm up, cool down, stretching) focused on strength building, core exercises along with endurance and cardio intervals. Students are guided through body weight exercises done
on or alongside the board in the water. A great combo of swimming and outdoor fitness!

12:00pm to 2:30pm on July 7th with a weather cover day of July 8th
$20.00 per person due at sign up at the demo

Come try all the different board styles that SUP has to offer, from Tour, Fitness, All Round, Race, Surf, Inflatable, Yoga and White Water SUPs. Learn different paddle techniques, tips and how to choose the proper board.

Adults must bring ID to leave with staff while participating.
Participants under 18 must have a legal guardian with them.
A safety briefing is mandatory for all participants.

Gear & Clothing

All participants will be provided with a stand up paddleboard and the required safety gear for the class (SUP, paddle, anchor, PFD, & whistle). You will need to bring your own personal gear and clothing.

  • Clothing: quick-dry or warm-when-wet outdoor athletic gear. Think paddle tops, rashguards, breathable hiking layers, merino wool, boardshorts, athletic swimwear, etc. Yoga clothing also works well.
  • Headwear: sun hat, bandana, sombrero, sunglasses with straps, etc.
  • Any personal first aid, medications, sunscreen, etc.
  • Waterproof and floatable camera.
  • High energy snacks, drinking water.
  • Towel and warm, dry change of clothes (just in case!)
